Dear Friends,
As we close out 2025 and welcome the new year, I'm delighted to reflect on a particularly dynamic period for GreenAnt. December saw us actively engaged across the Asia-Pacific region, reinforcing our commitment to building climate resilience through innovation and collaboration.
Our team participated in three significant events that brought together leaders in technology, insurance, and humanitarian response. At Insurtech Insights Asia in Hong Kong, we explored how artificial intelligence is reshaping digital transformation in the insurance sector. In Bangkok, the Regional Humanitarian Partnership Week provided a valuable platform to discuss data-driven solutions for strengthening humanitarian response. Finally, at Satellites for a Safer Tomorrow in Jakarta, we examined how satellite technologies are driving innovation and building resilience against natural hazards.
I had the privilege of presenting at the Bangkok and Jakarta events, where we connected with experts and explored promising collaborations with partners and prospective clients throughout the region. These exchanges reinforced our belief that anticipatory, technology-enabled approaches to climate risk are not just beneficial but essential for creating sustainable impact.
As we enter 2026, we carry forward the insights and connections from these global forums. The momentum we've built strengthens our resolve to expand our reach and deepen our impact in communities facing climate challenges.

What has GreenAnt been up to recently?
At Insurtech Insights Asia in Hong Kong, GreenAnt joined over 5,000 executives, entrepreneurs, and investors for Asia's largest insurance conference, where cutting-edge technologies like AI, blockchain, and IoT are transforming traditional insurance models. The event provided critical market intelligence on emerging trends in intelligent underwriting, risk management, and customer engagement that are reshaping how insurers approach climate-related risks.
At Regional Humanitarian Partnership Week in Bangkok, GreenAnt led one of the most widely-attended workshops of the conference, where we presented about how our unique tech stack is actively supporting anticipatory flood action in Myanmar. At the event, we engaged with 517 practitioners representing 279 organizations from 38 countries on advancements in humanitarian disaster response and climate-informed programming.
The Jakarta event, which marked Italian National Space Day, brought together Italian and Indonesian researchers to examine how satellite technologies support environmental monitoring, emergency management, and climate change research. Mario's presentation highlighted applications of European Copernicus program data, particularly from Sentinel satellites, for building resilience against natural hazards in vulnerable regions.
