Dear Friends,
As Autumn settles in, I'm delighted to share highlights from an exceptionally productive September. This month brought valuable opportunities to connect with academic leaders, investors, and international partners. Each engagement advanced our mission to deliver innovative climate resilience solutions.
I had the privilege of speaking at Leiden University College's Lustrum celebration, sharing GreenAnt's start-up journey and impact onstage. At NL Space Week, our presentation to investors and industry leaders generated significant interest, with follow-up meetings now underway. The month concluded at the Vietnamese Embassy's Independence Day celebration, where we reinforced connections vital to our expanding operations in the region.
These diverse engagements, spanning academia, investment, and international collaboration, reflect the broad ecosystem supporting GreenAnt's growth. Each conversation reinforced our belief that meaningful environmental impact requires building bridges across sectors and borders.

What has GreenAnt been up to recently?
GreenAnt presented its ongoing anticipatory action pilot at a UN-sponsored Regional Emergency Preparedness Working Group focused on South Asia. GreenAnt’s unique rainfall-to-flood threshold capability was recognized as a critical enabler of trigger-based intervention.
Speaking at Leiden University College's Lustrum celebration allowed CEO Mario to share GreenAnt's evolution with alumni, students, and faculty. It was a full-circle moment for him to return to his alma mater and celebrate alongside the University’s community.
Celebrating Vietnam's Independence Day at the Vietnamese Embassy in The Hague provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships with stakeholders central to GreenAnt's expanding presence in Southeast Asia. These deepening connections in Vietnam enable us to better understand regional environmental challenges and tailor our satellite-based solutions to meet the specific climate resilience needs of customers operating across the region.
The response to our presentation at NL Space Week was outstanding—a third of the investors and industry leaders in attendance requested follow-up meetings to explore partnership and investment opportunities. This strong interest positions GreenAnt to accelerate development of our satellite-based environmental intelligence platform, ultimately delivering faster, more comprehensive insights to customers monitoring climate risks and environmental changes.
GreenAnt was invited to present about Desidera at the Accelerate for Impact Platform (A41P) Flagship Event in Rome. The event, which was sponsored by the Alliance of Bioversity International and CGIAR, spotlighted new innovations in the AgTech field. Speakers discussed these innovations’ impacts across policy, impact, and market-readiness. Our team came away excited with the new connections we made.
