Dear Friends,
As March concludes, I am pleased to share the significant progress GreenAnt has made through a series of high-level engagements across Europe. The past few weeks have been defined by a focus on scaling our technology and deepening the partnerships that drive our mission forward.
This month was marked by strategic participation in key industry forums. At Insurtech Insights Europe in London, we engaged with leaders to advance Desidera’s footprint in the parametric and natural catastrophe insurance space. Our participation in the Plug and Play Germany Summit 2026 further allowed us to share our work around anticipatory risk. Additionally, GreenAnt was invited to present to up and coming graduate talent at the Universita di Pavia LM+ Project event.
Throughout London, Zurich, and Milan, direct consultations with our partners have been instrumental. These discussions focused on refining how the ANT platform and Desidera deliver decision-ready triggers for humanitarian response and agribusiness supply chain resilience. By shifting from abstract risk modeling to precise, actionable intelligence, we continue to bridge the gap between climate data and proactive protection.

What has GreenAnt been up to recently?
GreenAnt participated in Insurtech Insights Europein London, joining a premier gathering of industry executives and innovators. CEO Mario Simmaco engaged with leaders in the insurance and reinsurance sectors to demonstrate how our satellite radar analytics enhance the design of parametric and index-based products. By providing precise, physics-based data for risk modeling and trigger design, GreenAnt is helping to bridge the protection gap for climate-related risks. These conversations paved the way for new collaborations aimed at integrating our Desidera platform into global insurance workflows for more efficient and accurate disaster response.
GreenAnt also attended thePlug and Play Germany Summit 2026, an event focused on the intersection of technological innovation and corporate integration. Here, we showcased how Desidera’s predictive capabilities facilitate anticipatory action by converting complex environmental data into operational triggers.
At the Universita di Pavia, GreenAnt engaged with the academic community through the LM+ Project event to support the next generation of environmental scientists and AI specialists. Our CEO was invited to present about the work we do at GreenAnt to prospective graduate-student interns, highlighting the practical application of geosciences in solving real-world climate challenges. The LM+ Project initiative focuses on bridge-building between high-level research and industrial innovation.
