Dear Friends,
As 2025 draws to a close, I'm pleased to share another month of meaningful progress in climate resilience. We’ve had a busy month! From weather risk events in Paris to flood management innovations in Australia, GreenAnt continues expanding our global impact through collaboration and cutting-edge analysis.
This month brought exciting recognition as La Repubblicaand other publications featured our innovative climate analysis approach, validating our methods on an international stage. Our ongoing Anticipatory Action pilot and pilot initiatives demonstrate how proactive partnerships can transform disaster preparedness.
Our recent developments reflect a central theme: the limitations of reactive climate risk models. As you'll read in our recent blog, the true cost of conventional approaches extends far beyond immediate financial impacts. GreenAnt's commitment to anticipatory, data-driven solutions offers a more sustainable path forward.

What has GreenAnt been up to recently?
GreenAnt CEO Mario Edoardo Simmaco secured second place and roughly €7,000 at the China (Shenzhen) Innovation and Entrepreneurship International Competition in Paris. This recognition validates our team's impact in climate resilience on a global stage.
GreenAnt participated at the European Annual Meeting of the Weather Risk Management Association (WRMA) in Paris, the largest gathering of weather derivatives experts worldwide. We connected with key partners and the incredible community there, all dedicated to building climate resilience.
GreenAnt was selected alongside 29 other innovators from 14 countries to take part in the QBE AcceliCITY Australian Red Cross Humanitarian Challenge. For the next several months, we’ll go through a rigorous mentorship program, with a final pitch at the end. Winners receive funded pilots of up to AU$100,000 to test solutions with Red Cross partners and communities.
